Pallliative care for patients with non-malignant conditions

John McIntyre Conference Centre, Edinburgh

Strathcarron Hospice New Directions in Palliative Medicine Conference continues to grow with each year.  In September 2018 we hosted another very successful two day conference which was well evaluated by all who attended.  We look forward to welcoming everyone to the ninth Annual Conference which will be held in September 2019.

Who should attend?

We are delighted to welcome delegates from around the world and many of those who attend join us every year now.  The Conference is relevant for those who specialise in Palliative Care, Primary Care, Care of the Elderly or General Medicine.  Next year’s conference will be particularly relevant for all those members of the multi-professional disciplinary team who are involved with patients with life limiting non-malignant illness.

Aim of the conference

New Directions in Palliative Medicine provides high quality, clinically relevant presentations, which are based around a different theme each year.  Our conference in 2019 will be no exception – we look forward to welcoming experts in their field.  In addition to the plenary sessions there will be workshops, the chance to share your own work through poster or oral presentation and opportunities to network with colleagues.
