Nursing Assistants – Myton At Home

Salary: From £15,640 per annum, pro rata

The Myton Hospices are at a very exciting stage of growth and development. We are very pleased to announce that our Myton at Home service will now be rolled out across Leamington Spa and Warwick to join our current team in Rugby. We have three positions within our Myton at Home team to fill with various working hours. 

Myton Hospice are committed to the delivery of high quality palliative care and support for those with life limiting illnesses and their families and friends. The Myton at Home Service, extends this palliative care service to people in the community.

We are seeking to recruit experienced Nursing Assistants who are committed to the delivery of nursing care to patients and their family/caregivers, in their own home, providing evidence based, individualised end of life care.

Applicants must be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or working towards) with previous experience in a healthcare setting. The ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team is essential. Relevant community palliative care experience and/or community working experience will be an advantage.

Travelling will be essential therefore applicants must be car owner/driver and have a full driving licence, there may also be a requirement to travel to all three of our sites as and when required. 

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated Nursing Assistants to join our community team. The successful candidates will demonstrate a keen interest and understanding of palliative care.

Shift working will be required to be worked on a flexible rostered basis. 

Hours of Work: 

• 1 position: 37.5 hours worked over 5 days, from £15,640 per annum
• 1 position: 28 hours worked over 4 days, from £15,640per annum, £11,678 pro rata
• 1 position: 18.5 hours worked over 5 days, from £15,640 per annum, £7,716 pro rata
