The theme of the Conference is ‘Transforming Ideas to Action’, and aims to provide a platform for sharing of ideas and action strategies for advocacy, strengthening networks among professionals and developing “champions” to advocate for children suffering with life limiting illnesses and for empowering families.
The conference invites multi-disciplinary professionals including doctors, nurses, social workers, other related professionals, parents and volunteers as well as representatives from various hospitals, institutions and organizations to attend and participate in this conference.
The conference is based on strengthening global initiatives, advocacy strategies and networking for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions to be a voice for the child. Plenary talks, workshops and concurrent sessions will be conducted by experts from all over the world in the field of children’s palliative care.
Total No of Bursaries Offered: 20 (10 Nurses & 10 Social Workers)
Criteria:
- The applicant should have an abstract accepted for Poster or Oral Presentation at the conference.
