Fundraising Development Manager (Major Gifts)
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Salary £27,600 pa
Chestnut Tree House is the only children’s hospice in Sussex, caring for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses and providing support for their families.
Raising money from high profile individuals across Sussex, you will develop our major gifts fundraising programme supporting Chestnut Tree House. You will be undertaking research, planning and actively managing relationships with and approaches to influential individuals, business leaders and our major donors. You will also be expected to plan and manage a variety of events that are attractive to new and existing donors.
You must have three years experience of fundraising or key account development and a track record of success. Engaging with people at all levels, you will need to be an excellent communicator and able to build strong relationships. You will have the flexibility to work independently whilst remaining part of the fundraising team.
