Bev, whose roots in the community go back to her time as an MEI student, has over 15 years of senior strategic leadership experience including her tenure as President of Envision Financial until 2012, where she provided leadership to over 800 employees. “I am pleased to donate my time and expertise to this wonderful local charity that provides important end of life care and support to individuals and families in our region,” Brown said. “I’m happy to step-up and play a leadership role and work together with the Board, staff and community to see Holmberg House to completion.”

David Turchen, AHS board chair, is pleased to introduce Brown as the AHS’s new Executive Director. “Bev will fulfill the role of Executive Director and work along side Patrick Giesbrecht, chair of the capital campaign. She brings a wide array of skills that our organization needs in preparing for our eventual move into Holmberg House. Bev brings the financial acumen and the track record of building teams to take us to the next level. Bev has the full support of the board as she sets out to accomplish these tasks.”

Patrick Giesbrecht of Giesbrecht, Goodrich & Co., who – along with his business partner, Justin Goodrich – handles the society’s communications and public relations needs welcomed the news. “We strongly believe that Bev’s involvement in the organization will greatly compliment the momentum we have been building in Phase 2 of the capital campaign to build Holmberg House. Her local history, leadership strength and community relationships will undoubtedly be a big boost in getting us to the finish line more quickly.”
