Now in its ninth year, the annual eggs benefit breakfast raises close to $10,000 a year for the Kirkland-based palliative-care centre.
This year’s event is being held at Le Chambertin Restaurant at 9 Place Frontenac on Friday, April 25. Frontenac runs north of Brunswick Blvd. just east of St-Jean Blvd. The community is invited to stop in for breakfast anytime between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. Donations will be accepted on site.
The fundraiser is one of dozens of events held throughout the year in support of the centre. The 23-bed West Island Palliative Care Residence, which was opened in October 2002, is the largest, free-standing community-based palliative care centre in Canada.
