We know that family caregivers play an important and often challenging role in supporting a person with dementia. Part of that role can include having “difficult conversations” which are sometimes necessary in order to ensure the best possible care and future plans.
The Alzheimer Society of Canada, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, and Parkinson Canada are planning webinars to support family caregivers in learning tips and strategies for having these difficult conversations with the person they care for. We want to be sure we cover specific topics that are meaningful to family caregivers.
