Prominent area florists and designers will volunteer their skills to decorate three homes reflecting a specific seasonal theme: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day; the other three will highlight the festive spirit of the holidays.
The Honourable Brian Tobin, P.C., O.C is the Honorary Chair of the 2013 tour. His connection to hospice care is a personal one since his brother’s stay at the May Court Hospice two years ago.
The tour will also feature a new Holiday PopUp Shop at the Official Residence of the Irish Ambassador. Visitors will be able to get a head start on their holiday shopping by browsing the children’s corner, affordable artwork, jewellery, seasonal décor, and delicious preserves prepared by some of the finest food purveyors in the capital region.
