If you’re a north Etobicoke resident, consider nominating your caregiver for the Central West Community Care Access Centre’s second annual Heroes in the Home Caregiver Awards.
Heroes in the Home acknowledges and celebrates caregivers, whether family members, friends, volunteers, personal support workers, care co-ordinators, nurses, therapists and other health care professionals.
Last year, the access centre presented 118 caregivers with recognition awards.
Nominations will be accepted until Sept. 30. The awards ceremony will be held in late fall.
