PROJECT COORDINATOR

The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) is looking for a dynamic team member to provide coordination for Advance Care Planning in Canada including Advance Care Planning: Support for Men with Prostate Cancer and their Partners, Families and Caregivers. This is a contract position, ending March 2017.

Experience, Education and Other Qualifications Required:

This position requires at minimum three-year, post-secondary degree in the area of Social Sciences, Health Services or Administration.  A Masters degree is preferable. At least two years experience in a project coordination position is required.  Experience in the not-for-profit, voluntary sector is also an asset. 

Attributes valued:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Working knowledge of French – spoken and written – is considered an asset and preferred.  Strong problem solving and investigative skills are essential. The successful candidate will embody the following attributes: the ability to organize and manage information, attention to detail, time management, ability to work independently and proactively, and strong interpersonal skills.  Advanced computer skills are essential including word processing, spreadsheet management, presentation applications, on-line survey applications and database management applications.  Experience in website administration is an asset.

Salary Range: $42,000 – $50,000.
