Dr Naveen Salins awarded the EAPC’s ‘Clinical Impact Award’

Dr Naveen Salins (Associate Dean, Research, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal) is this year’s recipient for the European Association of Palliative Care’s (EAPC) ‘Clinical Impact Award’.

The EAPC’s ‘Clinical Impact Award’ is designed to highlight and recognise the outstanding scientific contributions to palliative care research which significantly impacts clinical practice, education, policy and public advocacy. The recognition therefore aims to highlight an individual’s career development and their actual and potential contributions to the field.

This year, Prof Dr Naveen Salins and Prof Dr Sebastino Mercandanti from Europe have been recognised for this prestigious award.

Dr Salins will receive the award during this year’s EAPC’s annual congress, scheduled to be held at Rotterdam, Netherlands, between 15th – 17th June 2023. Additionally, Dr Salins will also have an opportunity to present his work at the conference.

Earlier this month, Dr Salins also became the Associate Dean, Research, at the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
