The organisers of the 32nd Annual International Conference of the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON 2025) are inviting submissions for IAPCON’s first Meme Competition!
The meme competition is designed to encourage participants create memes that spread awareness about palliative care in a creative, humorous, or emotionally impactful ways. The idea is to focus on highlighting the comprehensive aspects of palliative care, including physical, psychosocial, spiritual, practical, and emotional support. Suggested themes could include:
- Patient dignity
- Pain management
- Holistic care approaches
- Patient-family relationships
- Communication in care
- Providing comfort and dignity in end-of-life care etc.

IAPCON 2025, an academic fiesta which celebrates innovation and excellence in palliative care is themed ‘Evidence based Palliative Care’, and is scheduled to be held at the Auditorium of AIIMS Jammu, between Friday, 31st January, 2025, and Sunday, 2nd February, 2025. 15 very exciting and innovative pre-conference workshops are slated for Thursday, 30th January, 2025.
