The Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) is pleased to announce that the abstract submission deadline for the 33rd International Conference of the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPCON 2026) has been extended to 15th December 2025. This extension provides participants additional time to prepare and submit their scientific work.

The conference warmly welcomes scientific contributions across a wide range of themes. Delegates are encouraged to share original research, innovations, and experiences that can contribute to advancing palliative care practice, education, and policy. This additional submission window presents an excellent opportunity for researchers to showcase their work on an international platform.

IAPCON 2026 aims to offer a rich and engaging experience through a blend of scientific sessions, discussions, and collaborative activities designed to foster meaningful engagement among attendees. Together, these activities will help build a strong sense of community and advance knowledge-sharing in palliative care.

Delegates can also look forward to the lively IAPC Annual Debate, a much-awaited event that encourages sharp thinking, confident expression, and healthy academic discussion. Adding a refreshing and joyful element to the scientific atmosphere, the Ha! Ha! Ha! Contest invites healthcare professionals to share humour through drawings, jokes, memes, and short stories—celebrating the important role of laughter in holistic palliative care.

Another exciting highlight of the conference is the ‘SHARK TANK: Hospice Version’, where participants will have the opportunity to present innovative ideas and solutions to a panel of experts.

The conference will be held at the National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME), Hyderabad, from 13th to 15th February 2025. Pre-conference workshops are scheduled at various venues across Hyderabad on 12th February 2025, providing participants with an opportunity to engage in focused learning prior to the main event.
