Categories: Featured and Leadership.

The International Children’s Palliative Care Network (ICPCN) is pleased to announce that Rob Jones was recently appointed as our new Treasurer. This was confirmed in a recent board meeting with the International Board of Trustees (IBT). Rob Jones joined the ICPCN IBT in October last year and brings a wealth of experience from his career.

He currently holds the position of CFO within the Welsh government. His career background is in finance and governance and he has also served in different capacities in the not-for-profit sector. He recently held the position of CEO of a well-known children’s hospice in the UK. Ron’s mission background is in children’s palliative care and he identifies with this very strongly because he has a beautiful daughter who attends a children’s hospice.

Upon joining the ICPCN board last year, Rob said, “ICPCN to me, combines excellence in education in children’s palliative care, with global reach, where the mission is to spread understanding and advocacy in compassionate clinical practices. It is a privilege to join a truly diverse and experienced global board.”

The ICPCN team, together with the board of Trustees, has full confidence in Rob Jones’ experience and abilities to execute his duty as Treasurer to the Charity effectively. We would like to congratulate him on this appointment as we continue to work together to improve children’s palliative care globally.
