Invitation to a worldwide Delphi study on cachexia in Palliative Care adult patients. Dear and esteemed colleague, We hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to invite you to participate in an International Delphi Study aimed at developing consensus on best practices for the management of cachexia in palliative care—a complex syndrome that significantly affects patients with advanced illness.
Your expertise would be highly valuable in helping shape internationally relevant recommendations.
The Delphi process will include: Two rounds of online questionnaires With the possibility of a third round if further refinement is necessary.
Each round requires 20–30 minutes to complete
Timing: Round 1: March Round 2: April/May Round 3: Only if needed
Important: To ensure the reliability of the consensus process, participation requires a commitment to completing all rounds. Non-completion of later rounds may compromise the validity of the study.
Eligibility: We are seeking: Healthcare professionals with at least 10 years of experience in palliative care. We also welcome dietitians and social workers with equivalent expertise, to ensure a multidisciplinary perspective.
