Countdown to the 2nd International Children’s Palliative Care Network Conference

With the 2nd International Children’s Palliative Care Network(ICPCN) conference fast approaching, attendees can look forward to an impressive day full of pre-conference courses and workshops.

Half day or full day courses will take place at the conference venue in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, 18 May, on the following topics:

  • Principles of Children’s Palliative Care (presented by Herman Garcia, Karina Gomez, Dr Natalie Rodriguez Zamora and Elena Bernada)
  • Developing CPC Programmes in low resource settings (presented by Lynna Chandra, Dr Pradnya Talawadekar and Anna Gorchakova)
  • Ethics in decision making (presented by Dr Richard Hain, Dr María Susana Ciruzzi, Fr. Rick Bauer and Dr Yuriko Nakashima)
  • Less recognised aspects of children’s palliative care (presented by Laura Doumic, Claudia Liniado, Felipe Acosta and Eduardo Lagomarsino)
  • Palliative care for adolescents (presented by Dr Marianne Phillips, Dr Teresa Mendez and Dr Eulalia Lascar)
  • Workshop on pain management ( presented by Dr Stefan Friedrichsdorf, Dr Ross Drake, Dr Alison Twycross and Dr Veronica Dussel)

For a cost of only $50, delegates will take part in an incredibly informative day.

All registration fees are quoted in US dollars and are adjusted according to the World Bank Classification status of your country of residence.
