The Taskforce has already made a start by translating Dutch national guideline on spiritual care into English and German.
In the blog, van de Geer describes this process: “It was an interesting process: exploring each other’s subtle linguistic nuances, in the context of healthcare systems with different structures. Important professionals conditions proved to be different in spiritual palliative care.”
He adds: “To stimulate contributions to the international debate from non-English speaking countries, the EAPC Taskforce on Spiritual Care invites authors to translate relevant national guidance documents (standards, guidelines, programmes).”
