Stop TB Partnership Secretariat– Call for nominations

Categories: Leadership.

The Secretariat is recruiting for a total of nine Board seats that are currently vacant:

  • four seats for country representatives
  • two seats for community representatives
  • one seat for a representative of NGOs in developing countries
  • one seat for a representative of NGOs in developed countries
  • one seat for a private sector representative.

Leaders in the field have earmarked this as an opportunity to ensure the inclusion of palliative care on this influential board and to increase the collaboration between advocates for TB awareness and palliative care.

The call for nominations is part of the package of governance reforms approved by the Coordinating Board at its 22nd meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in November 2012. The reforms are designed to broaden the base of partners represented on the board.

All nominations should be submitted by Monday 13 May 2013 to stoptbboard@who.int

Nomination guidelines, eligibility criteria, and application forms are available on the Stop TB Partnership website.
