The Hospice African Adventure made its last tour of Kenya to Coast Hospice where the solo bike rider Russel Johns met the hospice staff and patients.
This followed his visits to Nyeri Hospice and Nairobi Hospice in an effort to raise awareness of these hospices and raise funds for North Devon Hospice.
In his journey, Russel says there have been challenges in moving with the bike across borders, but this is something he was prepared for and is ready to proceed with the remaining part.
His next move will be to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, then to Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and finally South Africa.
Russ started the journey from Europe into Africa on a BMW sponsored motorbike.
In Africa Russ has visited hospices in Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya.
