Kenya Hospices and Palliative Care Association (KEHPCA) has a new Communications Officer!

We are happy to let you know that Howard Nyaga Kinyua has joined KEHPCA as the Communications Officer. Howard joined us in May 2020. We are convinced that he will add another layer of success to our work.

Howard has previously worked with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) where he supported communication function in the Eastern Africa Region. He also worked as an intern at the Ministry of Information, Communication, and Technology. He has previously volunteered at New Life Children’s Home, Living Effectively Mentorship Program (LEMP), and as the Human Rights Coordinator, students Consortium for Human Rights.

Howard has experience in developing, delivering, and implementing media internal and external communication strategies to support and extend impact and awareness of institutional events, campaigns, corporate publications, and other public communication activities. He also has experience in film production, advocacy campaigns both at grassroots and high-level contexts.

Howard is a graduate of Mount Kenya University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media and Communication.
