The additions include a boutique and a jewellery store, which should hopefully draw a wider clientele.This formed part of initiatives by the hospice to generate income, said marketing manager Charlotte van Coller.
The hospice takes care of terminal patients in their final days free of charge.Van Coller said donations received from the community made the boutique and the jewellery store possible. “The items brought in as donations by the public are amazing and kept in pristine condition.”Some items, mostly costume jewellery,a re not in perfect shape but we still encourage people to donate it to us. We will fix it,” she chuckled.
