Walk of Life fuelled with love, support and well-wishes

After 17 days of braving the Indian heat, Durban resident, Bala Gangiah and Jay Moodley, who is a South African now living in India, have flown the SA flag high by completing their Walk of Life feat across India.

The pair was accompanied by their coach guide and motivator, Logie Govender, for a portion of the race. The purpose of the walk was to raise funds for the Chatsworth Hospice and as a cancer survivor, who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro just six months after losing his kidney to the dreaded illness, Gangiah hopes that the Walk of Life will eventually become a destination walk.

They intend to inspire cancer patients, striving to survive and in doing so, raise funds for the Chatsworth Hospice.
