It’s not all doom and gloom these days. Khanya Hospice shop recently held a lucky draw competition, with the draw taking place on 31 August, with beautiful humidifiers as prizes.
The winners were chuffed to collect their prizes at the Hospice shop. “Congratulations to all of them and thanks for supporting the local shops,” said CEO Neil McDonald. First prize: Ronnie Govender; second: Gabriel Morgan; third G Chiliza.
Spring Day on 1 September has always been a joyous occasion at Khanya Hospice – and this year it was no different. Although the weather was still cool, staff made the best of the change of season. “Hopefully it will also bring a change in the effects of Covid-19. We are very thankful for all the kind donations, but we need a more steady flow of funds on a monthly basis.
