Deputy director of the Department of Sport and Recreation, Dr Ansuyah Moodley, held the first of many yoga classes for patients at the Chatsworth Regional Hospice, last Wednesday.
Dr Moodley expressed her thoughts on the importance of yoga on one’s body. “Yoga is a science that creates harmony between the body, mind and soul. It is geared towards a lifestyle which prevents diseases, promotes positive health and brings productivity with peace and happiness in society,” said the yoga instructor.
