April is ‘Make a Will Month’ with Heart of Kent Hospice

Categories: Fundraising.

‘Make a Will Month’ will be available throughout April 2023 and is the ideal opportunity to make a Will for the cost of an affordable donation to Heart of Kent Hospice. All the Solicitors taking part will generously return 100% of each donation to the Hospice.

An up-to-date Will written by a solicitor ensures your wishes are respected. It also avoids difficult decisions and legal complications for your loved ones.

Sandra Cayzer, Welfare Adviser at Heart of Kent Hospice said,

I always advise people to make a Will as families and relationships can be complicated. Dying without a Will in England means that your assets and money are distributed according to intestate law, regardless of your wishes or how close your relationship to your loved ones is.

Making plans, such as writing your Will and what your funeral wishes are can make it easier for your family and friends after your death.’

‘Make a Will Month’ not only allows you to provide for family and friends, but is also the perfect time to consider leaving a gift, of any size, to Heart of Kent Hospice.  This act of kindness will ensure the Hospice can continue to provide outstanding care to those with a terminal illness, for years to come.

It’s really easy to take advantage of this simple and easy Will-writing service.  Just book an appointment directly with one of the participating Solicitors below and they will send out an information pack with all the essential details including suggested donation amounts for the Hospice.  This is only a guide and everyone can decide how much they would like to donate.
