Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a charity providing care and support for patients diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness and their families. Every year through our 24/7 Hospice at Home service, our Family Support services and the range of Day Services at Grove House we give thousands of patients in Herts and Bucks the choice to stay at home, surrounded by their families and friends.

ASSISTANT SHOP MANAGER – Harpenden
18 months fixed term contract
30 hours per week (4 days a week, including alternate Saturdays)
£14,062 (pro rata)

We are seeking an Assistant Shop Manager based in our Harpenden shop and providing cover at our other shops in the St Albans/Hemel area. Deputising for the Shop Manager, you will be an experienced and motivated retailer who can manage the shop and a team of dedicated volunteers. As well as providing excellent customer service, you will maximise sales and profitability of the shops. Hours will be worked over 4 days to include alternative Saturdays.

Benefits include 25 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays per annum (pro rata) and pension.
A car and current UK driving licence are essential and the position is subject to a basic DBS check.
