SEASONS @ St. Luke’s by AnuragFoodStory hosted a special opening and networking evening on Tuesday 6th October. The event brought together a group of St. Luke’s Hospice Basildon & District supporters and charity representatives to experience the new Bistro at the charity’s Thurrock Hospice in southwest Essex.
Hosted by Eileen Marshall, CEO and Gerry Peaty Chair of Trustees, guests heard from Anurag Aggarwal, BBC MasterChef UK finalist, published author and food systems advisor about how the partnership, concept, execution and launch of the Seasons Bistro and St. Luke’s Hospice, the evening afforded guests the opportunity to experience SEASONS @ St. Luke’s for themselves, meet the team and sample a selection of dishes from the menu.
SEASONS @ St. Luke’s has re-imagined how food can support wellbeing in a care setting, and offers high-quality, nutritious and inclusive food options for patients, families, staff and visitors.
Guests at the networking event enjoyed delicious food and warm hospitality at the Bistro’s beautiful countryside surroundings.
SEASONS @ St. Luke’s has been created through an innovative partnership between AnuragFoodStory and St. Luke’s Hospice. Alongside providing a welcoming place for people to enjoy good food, the Bistro creates a very important new source of sustainable income for the Hospice.

It was a lovely evening and a chance for people to experience the space, enjoy the food and see for themselves what we have proudly created to help fund future hospice care.”
