Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice provides community, hospital and inpatient specialist palliative and supportive care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families within the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley.
The Hospice is seeking an experienced Business Development/General Manager to join our team initially on a fixed term contract for one year. If you want to make a difference by supporting our clinical staff to provide quality compassionate care which promotes dignity and independence to people who are approaching the end of their lives as well as their families and friends; we would like you to get in touch.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary range: £41,000 to £51,500 per annum

Working closely with the Hospice’s Senior Management and Clinical Leadership Team, this post is responsible for providing strategic and operational support, releasing our clinical experts to lead the clinical services to ensure quality service delivery now, whilst improving and developing services for the future.
Leading on the preparation of business cases and experience of operational management within the health service is essential, allied with the ability to analyse data, trends and information to build financially rewarding, compelling evidence based cases. The ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders internally, and externally is essential.
The post holder will be required to participate in the Senior Management On Call Rota.
