Salary: Hospice pay scale 8a (£36,006 – £46,240 pa)
Location: Little Hulton Worsley and Neil Cliffe Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital
We are one of the UK’s largest hospices providing a range of specialist palliative care for people living with or affected by life-limiting illnesses. As a charity, our services are available free of charge to people over the age of 16 from across the Greater Manchester area. Our annual running costs are over £9 million per year, approximately two-thirds of which needs to be raised from voluntary contributions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced nurse leader to manage and lead the community services at our Little Hulton site and the supportive outpatient service at the Neil Cliffe Centre based at Wythenshawe Hospital. You will be the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission for the Neil Cliffe Centre and be responsible for ensuring high standards of care to patients and families with life limiting illnesses across all services
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services and working with the senior clinical management team you will be transformational in leading the services and achieving the organisational and strategic objectives. You will need to be motivated, innovative with a “can do” approach to service development and possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Your proven leadership and managerial skills and experience of change management will help to drive the service forward.
