St Luke’s Hospice, (Plymouth, Devon) is looking to recruit a new Commercial Director who will contribute to St Luke’s continued growth and success through the identification of new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts. The role will require an individual with a successful track record of generating business and the ability to seek new and innovative way to generate profitable income.
St Luke’s is a well-established and highly respected registered local charity. It provides specialist palliative and end of life care to more than 3,000 patients each year from across Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall. St Luke’s has been recognised as a national exemplar for its integrated service approach to the provision of care.
The Hospice employs approx 300 staff and is supported by several hundred volunteers each year. St Luke’s care services are provided at no charge to patients and the doors are open to all in need of end-of-life support. Today these services cost over £6 million a year to provide with over £4 million raised thanks to the generosity of the local community, charitable donations, and applications to grant-making trusts and legacies.
