Salary: £17,000 to £18,000 per annum

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a charity supporting local families to cope with life-threatening illness. Our mission is to offer excellent palliative and end-of-life care based around patients and their families both day and night.
Raising awareness of Rennie Grove Hospice Care helps to generate income to sustain our service as well as ensuring that all members of the community who require our services know how to access them.
Increased awareness of Rennie Grove assists in the recruitment of nurses and other key staff who help the charity achieve its goal to give people with life-limiting illness the choice to be cared for at home.
The focus of this role will be on digital marketing (including websites, e-communications and social media). With your excellent organisational skills, combined with the ability to work using your own initiative, you’ll work effectively as part of a small, flexible team.
The ability to write good copy is crucial, as is the willingness to undertake in-house training on specific software and web-based platforms. A strong belief in the hospice cause and a firm grasp of communication principles combined with a solid commercial approach will be valuable attributes. You’ll also appreciate the general principles regarding the relationship of hospices with their supporters, many of whom may have experienced bereavement.
Benefits include 25 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays per annum and pension.
