Chestnut Tree House is the only children’s hospice in Sussex. We provide specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening illnesses across East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire.
Do you have the passion, drive and enthusiasm to be part of a successful and energetic team working to expand our care services and fundraising in East Sussex?
Working and operating in Brighton and Hove, we are looking for a target-driven self-starter to join the team to develop and expand our existing community fundraising activity.
The successful applicant will have experience in either fundraising or sales development or account management. You will be an excellent communicator with well-developed presentation skills and a ‘can-do’ approach to help us develop relationships and maximise funds from the local community.
This role will involve working with volunteers, schools, and community groups, so the applicant must enjoy working in varied situations and be able to communicate with a wide range of different people. The right applicant must have a real hunger for helping to grow income and develop new relationships, with the flexibility to work independently within a team structure.

A driving licence and access to a car is needed for this post. This post will require you to travel around Brighton and Hove and to visit the Chestnut Tree House hospice base regularly for team meetings. Some out of hours working will also be involved.
