Chestnut Tree House is the only children’s hospice in Sussex. We provide specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening illnesses across East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire.

Do you have the passion, drive and enthusiasm to be part of a successful and energetic team working to expand our care services and fundraising in East Sussex?

We are looking for a highly motivated team player to support our Community Fundraiser working on activity throughout East Sussex. The successful applicant will have experience in either fundraising, sales or promotions/marketing. You will be an excellent, confident communicator with good presentation skills and be highly organised with the ability to work under pressure.

This is a varied role which includes day to day liaison with our supporters in communities across East Sussex, office support to the Eastbourne team, helping to promote our campaigns by delivering talks and presentations to schools and groups, and assisting with thank you events. Attention to detail, office experience and computer skills including working with databases are essential.

If you have the passion to work in a busy fundraising office supporting work with life-limited children in your area, then we’d like to hear from you.

A driving licence and car are essential for this post as you will be required to travel around East Sussex and occasionally to Chestnut Tree House in Arundel. Some out of hours working will also be involved.
