Reports to: Community Fundraising Manager
Salary: £20,200 per annum
Terms: 35 hours per week worked over 5 days
Pilgrims Hospices has been providing end of life care and support for patients with a range of life limiting illnesses for more than 33 years. Pilgrims hospices run three hospices in Canterbury, Thanet and Ashford, with inpatient, day hospice and home visits available at all three sites.
We have a small community fundraising team on each site and this role will be based in our Canterbury hospice community fundraising team.
This is an exciting, busy, ‘hands on’ role helping to develop and maintain our community fundraising programme in the Canterbury area. The Community Fundraising Officer will help develop income from individuals and organisations through innovative fundraising events, inspirational campaigns and partnerships. The post holder will support all fundraising activities to the highest standards, motivating supporters and encouraging them to take part in a range of fundraising activities.
The successful candidate will have at least two years experience in a fundraising/marketing or sales role, with excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
