Having recently been through an exciting phase of developing a new approach to the organisation’s psychosocial care, we have an opportunity for someone to join our existing social work services.
Social Work is part of Supportive Care services, which also include volunteering and spiritual care. The specialist response social work role completes the team providing a social work service to the community and in-patient unit. You will respond to the most complex needs and will be well supported by the Loss & Transition team with its increasing volunteer presence.
With HCPC registration, a qualification and substantial experience in social work, and preferably familiarity with palliative care as well as additional therapeutic training, you will be confident in working with emotional and relational complexity and risk in a multi-disciplinary context. You will lead creatively in guiding other professionals and volunteers in the assessment, planning and provision of specialist palliative care.
