Chestnut Tree House is the only children’s hospice in Sussex. We provide specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening illnesses across East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire.
Do you have the passion and drive to succeed? We are setting up a new team in East Sussex to expand our care services and fundraising in the county. We are looking for a target-driven self-starter to join the team to develop and expand our existing community fundraising activity. Primarily covering an area that includes Eastbourne, Hailsham, Bexhill and Hastings, this vital role will involve maximising funds from local communities for Chestnut Tree House.
The successful applicant will have experience in fundraising, sales or promotions, together with a good standard of education. You will be an excellent communicator with well-developed presentation skills and advanced networking ability, together with the flexibility to work independently within a team structure. If you can inspire, support and motivate people to fundraise for life-limited children in your area, then we’d like to hear from you.
A driving licence and car are essential for this post as you will be required to travel across East Sussex and to Chestnut Tree House in Arundel; some out of hours working will also be involved.
