Band 6 or 7 Equivalent – 37.5 hours
The Education department at St Peter’s Hospice has established an excellent reputation for its education and training activities.
We are a small, busy team that is committed to enhancing the quality of Palliative Care for people in Bristol and surrounding areas. The team provides a variety of education and training opportunities aimed at all members of the multi-professional workforce, across all care settings. These include workshops, study days, higher education modules and bespoke events on every aspect of end of life care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join an established education team. We are keen to recruit an individual with:
- Extensive experience in a relevant area of health or social care practice and/or
- Experience in teaching the health and social care workforce
- The ability to work as a member of a team and use your own initiative
- A degree or equivalent and can demonstrate critical thinking skills
Previous experience in education or training in a formal setting is not essential – but a willingness to learn and possibly undertake a formal qualification would be required.
