Entries open for the Student Nursing Times Awards 2014

The annual award ceremony recognises and rewards student nurses who demonstrate academic  achievement or clinical prowess, as well as educational establishments, mentors and lecturers.

St Luke’s Hospice in Harrow, Middlesex, won an award for ‘Student Placement of the Year’ at the 2013 Student Nursing Times Awards.

Speaking after the event, hospice chief executive, Mike Coward, said: “I am proud that St Luke’s is supporting the training and development of the nurses of the future. This is a fantastic achievement, which justly recognises the sheer hard work and dedication of a large number of people at St Luke’s working as a team.”

The awards will be presented at a lunchtime ceremony on 1 May 2014 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
