Salary: £ 19,112 to £27,128 per annum
Working HRS 37.5 hours per week
We are one of the UK’s largest hospices providing a range of specialist palliative care for people living with or affected by life-limiting illnesses. As a charity, our services are available free of charge to people over the age of 16 from across the Greater Manchester area. Our annual running costs are over £9 million per year, approximately two-thirds of which needs to be raised from voluntary contributions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Fundraiser to join a high performing fundraising team, which has grown considerably in the past year. In this role you will have responsibility for project managing a series of high profile fundraising events for the hospice, including our annual flagship event, the Manchester Midnight Walk. In addition you will identify and deliver new fundraising events and build on existing events to maximise income, including promotion of challenge events and runs and marathons.
You will have a proven events fundraising track record with a sound understanding of event management, marketing and promotion of events, volunteer recruitment and achieving defined financial targets.
Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
