Salary: £24,003 to 25,464 per annum dependant on experience

An opportunity has arisen for a candidate with a strong events background to join our successful fundraising team for a maternity cover starting in March 2016.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering our existing calendar of fundraising events as well as identifying new opportunities to raise funds for the charity through mass participation and other events. You must have at least three year’s experience in a fundraising events environment.
Essential requirements are: substantial experience of planning, promoting and delivering fundraising events to a wide range of audiences, excellent communication and organisational skills, creativity, self-motivation and results driven used to achieving financial targets. Ability to budget for events and maintain accurate financial records
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work for an established charity which provides vital hospice care for adults and children in Kent. You will manage and develop the annual events fundraising portfolio and be part of a motivated and friendly fundraising team.
