This post is to manage all referrals to and enquiries about adult pre-bereavement support and bereavement care following an expected death. The post holder will assess and triage clients and then allocate them to individual volunteer bereavement support workers. He/ she will be responsible for the support and management of the adult bereavement support volunteers, involving the recruitment and selection, induction and ongoing training of the team. Assistance with KEMP’S Bereavement Hub and its associated education programs may be required at times. Liaison with the Day Hospice team and Wyre Forest Palliative Care team will be important and the post holder will periodically need to attend multidisciplinary meetings.
