Pay scale – £26 302 – £35 225 dependant on experience

Willow Wood Hospice is an adult hospice providing care for patients with life limiting conditions. We care for these adults by providing symptom control and end of life care. The needs of the patients and their families are at the heart of all we do.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced counsellor to head our family support team.

The position requires that the successful candidate possesses a minimum of a diploma level qualification in counselling/ psychotherapy and be a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy or similar accrediting professional body. The role is to lead the continued development, co-ordination and provision of the service, it will require working with adults, and also include the development of a hospice’s children’s’ bereavement service. There is also an educational element to the role in supporting the staff within the clinical and family support team.
