Salary: AFC Band 6 (£25,600 to £35,900)

Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice provides specialist free care to local people with life limiting illnesses and their families, both at the Hospice and in the local community. With around a third of our income coming from the government we must raise over £4 million from the local community through individual supporters, businesses and community groups each year.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Fundraising Manager for a reputable local charity, managing the Hospice’s community fundraising programme, community based events and local business partnerships. This post reports to the Head of Fundraising, is a member of the Hospice Management Team and line manages a team of 3, with the requirement to work closely with other members of the Fundraising team and our volunteers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the community and events strategy and for maintaining existing and securing new effective income generating partnerships with local businesses. You will be required to ensure a regular flow of income to achieve annual targets, taking action to fill any income gaps as required.
We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent organisational, leadership, time, team management and people skills. An assured networker and communicator with experience of delivering presentations, working within a fundraising setting and of line management.
You will have a proven track record of engaging, inspiring and enthusing a range of supporters to raise funds and nurture relationships within a dynamic fundraising environment.
You will be a hands on fundraiser and able to support, coach and train fundraisers. A full clean driving license and access to a car is required.
The role is flexibly based but will mainly work out of the fundraising office in Welling, with flexible working an option for the right candidate.
