Fundraising Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Manager to join the fundraising team.

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for planning, organising and marketing every aspect of a fundraising project in line with the hospice’s Income Generation strategy and vision. You will need to raise money at an agreed return on investment, ensuring the quality of donor relationships are at the highest possible levels, whilst maximising every fundraising opportunity from all types of existing and potential donors. In particular the role focuses on organising hospice led events and maximising fundraising potential from the local community including individuals and corporate groups. Evaluation, analysis and producing reports are also key elements to the role. Developing and utilising the hospices volunteer resource will be key to undertaking this role.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, previous experience of successful project management, be self motivated, able to work well as part of a team and target driven to achieve results are important to this role. It will also be important to have a flexible approach to all aspects of daily working and an understanding that the role includes occasional working during evening and weekends.
