St Luke’s says: We’re delighted to congratulate George Lillie on his appointment as the permanent Chief Executive of St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.

Formerly our Clinical Director and Deputy Chief Executive, last year George stepped into the role of CEO for a limited period at a time when we desperately needed his wealth of experience, understanding and leadership.

Following a rigorous and robust recruitment process, with some very strong applications, our board of trustees have confirmed that George was the outstanding candidate.

“It’s both an honour and a privilege to accept the permanent role of St Luke’s Chief Executive,” he said.

“I’d like to thank our trustees, my senior management team colleagues, all our fantastic staff and volunteers, and also our wonderful community for their support.

I look forward to working alongside you all to make sure St Luke’s continues to deliver our compassionate end of life care to everyone who needs it.”
