In this exciting role you will be responsible for leading the Community and Events team to maximise fundraising opportunities and increase net income across the charity.
With a solid background in community and event fundraising and extensive team management experience you will bring innovative and creative ideas to develop and deliver the strategic direction for community and events, ensuring sustainable growth in net income.
You will coach, guide and support staff and volunteers to deliver high quality donor care to supporters, including best practice in donor stewardship.
With a proven ability to build relationships with a range of people and groups you will manage community relationships and community event partnerships such as Mayoral appeals, balls, beneficiary events, and liaise with community leaders and local ambassadors to secure long-term local support for the hospice.
This is an exciting time to join Richard House as we work towards our new strategic direction, developing our model of care to extend our reach to more children, young people and their families along with our current refurbishment of our building.
