Salary: Band 7 £36,916 – £46,837 per annum inclusive
Hours of work: 37.5 per week
St Joseph’s Hospice in East London is one of the largest hospices in the UK. It is putting significant investment for the first time in its Fundraising Department and is looking for skilled professional fundraisers who understand the need to be focused on patients, supporters and the local East End communities. It is a really exciting time to join the St Joseph’s Fundraising Team – many key activities and fundraising systems have not yet been built or set-up. This senior community-focused fundraiser is responsible for developing a proactive and relationship-based approach to forging much stronger links with our communities primarily based in Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets. You will have significant experience of community fundraising and be strategic in your thinking. You will develop and manage a small community and events team and be responsible for bringing in approximately £400K+ per year.
