Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice care. We believe that everyone, no matter who they are, where they are or why they are ill, should receive the best care at the end of their life. Hospice care is critical to achieving this. The majority of hospice care in the UK is provided by our member hospices – we are here to represent them and champion hospice care at a national level.
Our Income Generation Department is crucial for the sustainability of Hospice UK and in providing support to our members. It has a clear strategic focus for 2016-2017.
The key strands to the strategy are:
- Focus on individuals doing more – Individuals who donate or fundraise are more engaged with the cause and more loyal longer term.
- Develop major giving – Major donors, trusts and foundations are essential to our future sustainability.
- Grow and diversify our corporate income – Our biggest income stream comprising corporate partnerships and commercial income, a priority growth opportunity.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a coordinated approach to individual fundraising across the Income Generation Department. It will draw together a range of developing and established activity to provide a coherent and collaborative overall focus on individuals doing more.
