Head of Patient and Family Support Services

Full Time
Salary Circa £39- £40k per annum

Due to some exciting service developments, we are now seeking an experienced psychosocial practitioner with experience in, or a passion for, palliative care to join our multidisciplinary teams, providing expert care for patients of all ages and their families, across all settings.

EllenorLions Hospices are the provider of all-encompassing hospice care for adults living in the Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley area. Our services include Inpatient and Day Therapy at the Hospice in Northfleet and 24 hour Hospice at Home. Our Children and Young People’s Service (chYps) provides a full Hospice at Home service to children and families across the whole of West Kent and the London Borough of Bexley. 

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated person, with a holistic approach and experience of managing people, who can offer an excellent therapeutic service directly to patients and families, and support the overall care by leading the development of services for a wider group of people. We are looking to extend our reach and offer a more supportive, flexible model of care as we develop our role as a lead provider.

We offer a supportive working environment, with ongoing professional development and regular supervision. NHS Pension Scheme members can transfer in their pension.

The post is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.
