Salary: £16,271 (a higher point will be considered depending on experience) plus Inner London High Cost Area Supplement
An exciting job opportunity has arisen to join the well-established Community Specialist Palliative Care Team at North London Hospice for a 2-year Health Care Assistant Palliative Care Support Worker post.
North London Hospice is working with Macmillan Cancer Support on a community innovation project to enhance and improve our current established Community Specialist Palliative Care Services. The purpose is to deliver additional interventions around treatment and to provide flexible support to patients earlier on in their pathway and end-of-life care.
This post is joint-funded between North London Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and able to care for those receiving palliative/end-of-life care, is able to work alone in the community in patients’ homes, is an excellent communicator and has the ability to work flexibly within a supportive team.
The successful applicant must have previous palliative care experience and worked in the Community.
